About

Opened officially on the 28th April 2010, the Boatyard Music & Film Studio is a facility built by the Tanyard Youth Project Ltd. and funded by the National Lottery's BIG Lottery Fund

It was built for community and youth activities in the fields of music and film, and can be rented for commercial activities. All proceeds, of course fo to support the Tanyard Youth Project Ltd and in turn the Boatyard Studio

Mission

"The Boatyard Studio exists to provide an excellent standard of facilities, activities and services for all young people in a safe, welcoming and educational environment in order to enable them to develop physically, mentally and spiritually; becoming in turn, mature members of society and positive citizens of the community"

Aims

• To develop Music and Film activities and education in the local community.
  
• To discover and promote new undiscovered talent.
  
• To support the Tanyard Youth Project Ltd.

Staff

• John Heffernan - Project Manager - Tanyard Youth Project

• James Harding - Music & Film Technician, Director, Producer, Record Label CEO and Youth Worker

• Annika Brindley - Qualified Music and Media Technician with a background in youth work.
• Ellie Hansford - Doing her A levels in Media and gaining experience through the studio.
