The Boatyard Music & Film Studio can provide training with recognised qualifications in the fields of Music, Music Technology and Filming. Training is provided by a qualified CRB checked media teacher, and can be provided not only at the studio but also on location. So if you have trouble organising travel the studio can come to you!

Level 1 Film Making Techniques - What to know how to plan, film and edit a shortmovie? This OCN covers everything you need to know and moves also touches on how some of the top Movie Special FX are made.

Level 2 Film Making Techniques - Want a more involved look into the world of film making? This course covers everything in depth and will let you get involved with film cameras, green screens, film makeup and much more!

Level 1 Exploring Film - Want to take a look at what makes a film a blockbuster? This OCN looks at how a film is constructed, how it is marketed and how to make films appeal to the public.

Support tuition is also avaliable for anyone attending secondary education, further education and higher education for those that need help or want to get ahead before moving onto a higher course.
