The Boatyard Studio is based in the heart of Pembroke, opposite the Commons Road carpark:
- 5 mintues from Pembroke Dock, major ferry port to Rosslare, Ireland
- 20 mintues from Haverfordwest
- 1 hour from Swansea
- 2 Hours from Cardiff
The studio is situated in the Pembrokeshire National Park, surrounded by many holiday homes, cottages and hotels so if you need accommodation while using the studio we can find you a place suitable.
The Live Room
Linked to the Main Control Room and containing a Drum Kit Booth, the Live Room is ideal for anything from solo artits to all size bands up to small choirs. It has 3 wall boxes, each with 8 microphone lines and 4 jack lines, one in each corner of the room, to minimize untidy cabling and to allow maximum adaptability. These wall boxes connect through to the control room.
The Live room also contains a classic HH 215BL 200W Bass Cab and a 75W Stinger Bass Amplifier.

The live room also contains a nice spacious 7" by 7" drum kit booth giving drummers plenty of room to get in and out. The door to the Booth contains a window giving the drummer line of sight to the rest of the band and the control room. The Booth also has a wall box with 8 microphones and 4 jack lines connecting directly to the Control room.
The large control room, contains a nice large work space, with comfy chilling out area for musicians not taking part or anybody accompanying the artists.

The yard is a large usuable space for filming, or just chilling out during a break from recording.
It also contains the entrances to the studio, a pedestrian entrance and a vehicle entrance for off loading equipment.
It has outside power sockets avaliable for use.
